Making the Perfect Smoothie

Wild Branch Smoothies

There’s nothing more satisfying or filling than a summer smoothie packed with fresh greens from the garden! We have put together some of our favorite concoctions for you to try at home!

Spinach smoothieBasic green smoothie:

1- banana (frozen is best – put 8-10 bananas peeled and broken in half in your freezer. It makes the smoothies creamier)

Handful of spinach

Handful of kale

1 – cup frozen strawberries

2 tablespoons chia or hemp seed (adds protein & omegas)

1/2 cup of OJ or Apple juice with a little added water if needed


lemonLemon/Orange Smoothie (this one is a bit more “potent”- it’s a cleansing/detox smoothie)

1- frozen banana

1- peeled lemon

1- peeled orange

Handful of spinach

Handful  of kale

Small peeled piece of ginger root

2 Tablespoons chia seed

1/2 cup OJ (add a little water if needed)


almondAlmond Milk Smoothies

1- frozen banana (avocado works too)

1- cup frozen strawberries (mango or pineapple are good too if you want to sub out the strawberries or do half a cup of each)

Handful of spinach

Handful of kale

2 Tablespoons chia seed

1 cup Almond or Coconut Milk



2- frozen bananas

1/4 cup of almond or cashew butter

Handful of spinach

2 tablespoons chia seed

1 cup of Almond Milk
